About Django Studios

My name is Chad Hill and I am a HOTRODAHOLIC. It began at an early age thanks to my parents. My mom taught me how to draw, and my Dad and uncles instilled a love of hot rods, tractors, and WWII airplanes. It's all their fault, and I love them all the more for it.

For the past 15 years I've been a graphic designer in Chicago at redorchestra as a package designer for companies like Hasbro, Unilever, Sears, Valspar and others. By night... it's all about the cars.

Over the years my work has been seen on the HAMB, in Hot Rod Magazine, on the Hunnert Car Pileup swag, and through Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle.

Then 2 things happened... the folks at Vintage Torque magazine asked to do a feature on my artwork. And Hometown Hot Rod asked me to do a cover for their next issue. Both were pretty exciting and I thought maybe there was more that I could be doing rather than sneaking in some hot rod related art between diaper changes and my other 2 jobs. So here we are. Special thanks to Keith Weesner, Tuck, and Norwell for always inspiring me and pushing me to be better at what I do.

Hope you dig the art.
